Prospective Bride - Book Cover
2025
The Challenge
Lindsay needed a book cover that clearly differentiated this series from her previous, modern-styled books. The story required a design that felt historically grounded while still appealing to today’s readers—without leaning into overused historical tropes.
Process & Approach
Instead of beginning with visual trends, I started with the story itself. Lindsay generously allowed me to read an early portion of the manuscript, which gave me insight into the emotional weight, setting, and themes of the book.
From there, I:
Researched visual elements consistent with the 1880s era
Identified key story details that could subtly inform the design
Balanced historical authenticity with modern readability and market appeal
The Solution
The final cover design reflects the time period while highlighting the quiet hope and tension at the center of the story. Thoughtful typography, era-inspired elements, and intentional restraint all work together to create a cover that feels timeless, narrative-driven, and cohesive with the series vision.
MiSide - Rebranding Social Media Posts
2023-2024
The Challenge
With the launch of a new brand and name, we needed to ensure that our audience—clients, donors, and the community—understood that while our identity had changed, our mission remained the same. It was critical to communicate that we were still the trusted organization they had known, now with expanded programs to better serve them.
The primary challenge was that the original names, Southwest Solutions and Development Centers, were well-established and deeply recognized within the community. We had to strategically build trust under the new brand while maintaining continuity with our long-standing reputation.
Process & Approach
To bridge the gap between the old and new identities, I focused on:
Clarifying the brand’s visual identity, ensuring the logo and the concept of pillars were easily understood as a unifying element.
Crafting clear messaging to reassure stakeholders that we remained the same organization, now stronger and more comprehensive.
Using bright brand colors to capture attention and maintain visual consistency.
Incorporating real-life photos of employees and clients to emphasize authenticity and community connection.

Molnar Funeral Homes - Brochures
2016
The Challenge
The goal was to develop a group of brochures that used images of the funeral home with pertinent information so that any person visiting the funeral home could have the information in an easy to take format.
Process & Approach
Using the information on the website as a guide I chose images that would be diverse and help to portray the funeral home as welcoming, and trustworthy. As well as putting as much info that would help the viewer to choose the funeral home because of their amenities and knowledge. I set up photoshoots and walked around the buildings capturing the beautiful interiors and interactions that the families would have with the directors.
